When Dancing Moominvalley opened in 2010 we were so excited having evoked national treasures of Finland, the Moomins, into dance. What followed was still a big suprise. Dancing Moomins celebrated the 200th performance in September 2015. Since its premiere, Dancing Moominvalley ensemble has been touring abroad for instance in:

Dancing Moominvalley and its little sister production Peeks into the Dancing Moominvalley have run for 15 years and for more than 230 performances, making them together one of the longest-run productions in Dance Theatre MD. By the year 2025 nearly 36 000 people have seen the dancing Moomins. Now 2025 we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Moomin stories. Stay tuned for upcoming events.
